Charles and Ardel Hamilton Scholarship

The Bonita Business & Professional Association (BBPA) established the Charles and Ardel Hamilton Scholarship in 1990 with assets they received from the Hamilton’s. Well-rounded students with a record of past achievement and future potential are encouraged to apply. Community service, academic achievement and financial need are considered in awarding this scholarship. Today, the Bonita Museum & Cultural Center is the manager of the scholarship and with the Board and the San Diego Foundation we have been able to help many excellent students with the costs of education.
The Charles and Ardel Hamilton/BBPA Scholarship is open to:
Graduating seniors from Bonita Vista High School residing in Bonita, CA (zip code 91902) or Chula Vista, CA (zip codes 91910, 91911, 91913, 91914, or 91915) or children or grandchildren of BBPA members who are graduating seniors
Plan to enroll full-time at Southewestern community college or four-year university in the United States
Have a minimum 2.50 unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale
United States citizens or permanent residents
This scholarship may be used for tuition, books, fees, room & board, and other educational expenses.
